It was a busy weekend in Philly, with the annual Pleasure March and Competition celebrating a 50-year milestone on Sunday. A day earlier, West Philly hosted Porchfest, its all-volunteer music competition. Billy Penn contributor Hanbit Kwon shares photograph essays on each.

The annual Roots Picnic had a tough Saturday [Inq$] on account of cleanup from in a single day storms that delayed its opening by hours. Sunday went off on schedule.
